Blind, Deaf & Dumb

Atop a few of my books from 1600s-1700s sits a reminder: Are we fixated with being blind and deaf to the wisdom of the past? Have we unwittingly chosen our “spirit-of-the-age” narrative to be the quiet forces of modernism, liberalism and secularism?

How many realize – and even put into practice – that “The way forward is the way back.” Of this truism there can be little doubt – when we consider what humanity is descending into for nearly irreversible deterioration. Have we forgotten the paths of righteousness?

Indeed, new is not always better. Yuval Harari would have us all believe we are still progressing, even taking over where God left off, to use his words. But as C.S. Lewis emphasized, “What are we progressing towards?” Secular and Satanic notions of progress are based on the lie that “There is liberty in licentiousness.”

We have to forget about silly, even dangerous, notions of progress, concocted and promoted by unregenerate sinners and misfits – and listen well to the Voices who spoke, strongly, in the past. Who spoke strongly about the Timeless. We can no longer live in the luxury of being deaf to these Truth Celebrities. Starting with the Holy Spirit and all He spoke through, through the changing centuries, right up to the vital Present Moment….

Ministries of curing blindness and deafness, in the physical realm, will bring a chain of events: Curing the annoying maladies, of blindness and deafness, in ideological and spiritual realms, as well! In our days of growing apostasy, there is now no alternative for true Christians, but to gloriously counter blindness and deafness, on whatever levels, and whatever forms, they are encountered!

Pope Benedict XVI gave a Papal Blessing to my writings in November 2008. As a Catholic Press Association member of 500 worldwide, I am the author of numerous books and articles, including a several-book series for a Catholic college of the arts. My great uncle, Cardinal Volk of Hamburg, cast the deciding conclave vote for Pope John Paul I. As a positive conservative activist of the 1960s, an activism which recently surfaced in my retirement, I was on the ground floor of Ralph Martin's Catholic Charismatic Movement. A former research correspondent of Malachi Martin, I was invited to his New York residence in the early 1990s, to soon receive a handwritten note from him in a hospital recovery room telling of a recent heart attack. Over the decades, I've gained much firsthand experience with separated-brethren Protestants, Pentecostals and Messianic Jews - especially those who, though fragmented, all refuse the Masonic-crafted syncretistic world religious body needed for draconian world government.
