In nearly every sermon or discourse I hear, there is at least one sentence which strikes me with a Poetic Power! So it was today when hearing, “At Dawn, Jesus taught in the Temple.” This suddenly triggered all kinds of symbolic and literal meanings!
“All roads lead to AI.” As I’ve recently addicted myself to a new hobby hoping for quintessential AI art, I am instantaneously motivated to see what it can produce. Not perfected yet, it does produce Jesus teaching occasionally with a Bic pen; or even Mary with a moustache. But it’s like playing a cutting-edge lottery – eventually a few quintessential winners are produced!
Too, this techno-hobby shows me how God is Sovereign even over AI. More and more people will come to realize this! Initially, fiery activist preachers were condemning the advent of radio, TV, and computer. But they soon realized it’s all like mammon, to be used for good or evil. And so it is with AI artistry. It scours the Internet, seeking various artistic styles, to reproduce for your impulsive needs.
While it’s important to remember Jesus taught in the same Temple (His Father’s House) as a boy and adult, He later condemned it to be desolate; as New Covenant believers all gloriously become “Temples of the Holy Spirit.” (What would ne nice is if AI computerization would generate Divine facial features from the Shroud. Being a Carpenter, the real face of Yeshua (Hebrew for Jesus) appears quite strong and manly on the Shroud. And no matter how scientists and photographers expose it, it always has a Positive image.)
Today, very soon, people from around the world will journey to the prophesied resurrected Temple, awaiting the prophet Daniel’s “abomination that causeth desolation.” There, near the Temple, they will see two witnesses, Moses and Elijah, symbolizing the very Law and Prophets, themselves! But who now point to the very fulfillment of the Law and Prophets in Jesus! Can there be better witnesses?
