I’ll never forget one day I stopped into a church in Berlin. The famous pastor there, Dr. Volkhard Spitzer, knew me from an earlier music project I’d done for them. He was just back from the USA, where he appeared on major Christian programs including Schuller’s HOUR OF POWER, Pat Robertson’s 700 Club and many more! When he saw me in his church he came up to me and said, “Why should the Devil have all the good music?” You can imagine my pleasant shock when this powerful German pastor – who had 25 healings PER WEEK in his Sunday services – greeted me with the lyrical words of Larry Norman! As a former rock musician myself and a Christian all my adult life, what can I say about Larry Norman?
